3)    use of the product or its components for therapeutic, diagnostic or prophylactic purposes;

4)    reselling of the product, whether or not such product is resold for use in research.

D) If a custom assay is requested, the buyer must provide the accession number(s) or other unique identifier for the transcript and if splice variants exist, the buyer must specify whether a common or discriminating assay is required. If an assay that meets the buyer specifications cannot be designed for technical, or any other reason, qStandard will notify the buyer and suggest alternatives where possible.

F) qStandard will release to the buyer the following quality assurance data related to the product:

1)    Melt curve analysis of the PCR product

2)    A gel image of the PCR product with size markers indicated

3)    A qPCR standard curve graph indicating the linearity of the qPCR standard from 107 copies to 102 copies /reaction and the assay efficiency derived from the slope of the best fit line.

qPCR services

G) Responsibility for aspects of experimental design, such as the number of technical and biological replicates, rests with the buyer, although qStandard may provide advice on such aspects if required.

H) qStandard will release to the buyer the following quality assurance data related to the services where relevant:

1)    Data related to RNA quality such as electropherograms, absorbance spectra and the presence of PCR inhibitors
