The buyer may not resell products in their original or any modified form. The purchase of products does not include or carry an implied right or license for the buyer to use such products in the provision of services to third parties.
qPCR DNA standards
B) The purchase of this product conveys to the buyer the non-transferable right to use the purchased amount of the product in research conducted by the buyer, where such research does not include testing, analysis or screening services for any third party in return for compensation on a per test basis.
C) The buyer cannot sell or otherwise transfer this product to a third party or otherwise use this product or its components or materials made using this product or its components for Commercial Purposes. Commercial Purposes means any activity by a party for consideration and may include, but is not limited to:
1) use of the product in manufacturing;
2) use of the product to provide a service, information, or data;
3) use of the product or its components for therapeutic, diagnostic or prophylactic purposes;
4) reselling of the product, whether or not such product is resold for use in research.
D) If a custom assay is requested, the buyer must provide the accession number(s) or other unique identifier for the transcript and if splice variants exist, the buyer must specify whether a common or discriminating assay is required. If an assay that meets the buyer specifications cannot be designed for technical, or any other reason, qStandard will notify the buyer and suggest alternatives where possible.
E) qStandard will release all primer sequences to the buyer prior to or upon dispatch of qPCR standards or by completion of contracted qPCR services. Primer sequences remain the property of qStandard. The buyer may publish primer sequences in peer-reviewed publications and disclose sequences to co-authors for the purposes of manuscript review prior to publication, but may not disclose sequences to a third party without a licence from qStandard.
F) qStandard will release to the buyer the following quality assurance data related to the product:
1) Melt curve analysis of the PCR product
2) A gel image of the PCR product with size markers indicated
3) A qPCR standard curve graph indicating the linearity of the qPCR standard from 107 copies to 102 copies /reaction and the assay efficiency derived from the slope of the best fit line.
G) Responsibility for aspects of experimental design, such as the number of technical and biological replicates, rests with the buyer, although qStandard may provide advice on such aspects if required.
H) qStandard will release to the buyer the following quality assurance data related to the services where relevant:
1) Data related to RNA quality such as electropherograms, absorbance spectra and the presence of PCR inhibitors
2) Data related to assay specificity and sensitivity as described in Paragraph F above.
3) Standard curve, negative control data, and melt curve analysis for qPCR runs
I) Primer sequences remain the property of qStandard subject to the conditions specified in Paragraph E above.
J) Details of reagents and cycling parameters will be released to the buyer upon release of the data.
K) Any alterations to agreed protocols will be first discussed with the buyer.
